In this paper we present a systematic mapping study that investigates how ERP integration-related issues have been studied by the academia between 19. However, in a modern business environment, ERPs are integrated externally with customers, suppliers and business partners and internally with continuously changing system landscape of the enterprise. The original goal of ERP was to provide an all-in-one integrated suite for the enterprise. Experimental results show that multi-way joins are beneficial for several queries in a production database system and can be effectively exploited by the optimizer, however there are implementation issues that must be resolved to guarantee robust performance.ĮRP Integration - A Systematic Mapping StudyĬompanies have been adopting Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems for decades in order to integrate business functions to increase their competitiveness. We provide algorithms that modify the optimizer to cost multi-way joins and create and execute query plans that have more than two input operators. The contribution of this work is an implementation and experimental evaluation of multi-way joins in PostgreSQL. Practical issues include modifying the optimizer and execution system to support multi-way operators and ensuring robust and reliable performance. However, commercial database systems are not currently using multi-way joins. There are several multi-way join algorithms proposed, and the research results are encouraging. Multi-way joins improve performance by avoiding extra I/Os from multiple partitioning steps. Empirical findings have led to better understanding of the relative effects of the three issues and a well-achieved organizational performance. This study integrates the three key issues to examine collaboration in a comprehensive and unique way and its role in affecting focal firm performance. Social capital theory and justice theory, in essence, explain the two beliefs of supply chain members as the IS success model defining the belief of technology use. In expectation confirmation theory, an organization's sharing behaviors may initially mean a pre-expectation of common resources available in the supply chain and further, a perceived fairness between participants for the willingness to participate in the partnership. From a discussion of the literature, there are two major underlying concerns arising in the collaboration, organization's sharing behaviors and technology use behaviors. Mai-Lun Chiu, Chu-Ying Fu and Ing-Long WuĬollaboration has become a critical component to fulfill the need for integration in the supply chain.
